Karuna Mitra Foundation (KMF) is a not-for-profit company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, based in New Delhi. "Karuna" means compassion and "Mitra" means friend — we aim to be a compassionate friend to every person and living being in need.
We work across social welfare, healthcare, animal welfare and community development, bringing together volunteers, donors and well-wishers from India and across the world.

Meet Rajni Sharma
Rajni Sharma is a Director of Karuna Mitra Foundation with over 40 years of experience in social and public life.
Over these decades she has been involved in multiple social service activities and in the welfare of the downtrodden — especially women, children, the elderly and stray animals.
Her lifelong dedication to serving others continues to inspire the work of Karuna Mitra Foundation.
